Stakeholder change

CHEMVET witnessed marked improvement throughout its different departments, but human resources specifically saw very impressive results. Prior to the collaboration with JEDCO, the employee turnover rate was registered at between 60% and 70%, a number that has declined to under 10%, due mainly to the establishment of a salary scale and the identification of job descriptions for employees.

Change triggered
CHEMVET also applied for a grant to fully automate its production line, with JEDCO supplying between 60% and 80% of the cost. Thanks to the grant from JEDCO and its donors, the new machinery has greatly increased efficiency and accounts for a more polished end product. In addition, CHEMVET also participated in two exhibitions in Algeria and Ethiopia, where the company was able to network and forge relationships with new companies. CHEMVET and JEDCO also worked together to register new local and regional brands under the company's umbrella. The company is now in the first stages of entering Kazakhstan's market with the help of JEDCO Agribusiness.
