The purpose of this decree is to define the modalities of application of law n°042 - 2000 of 26 July 2000 relating to plant protection. The advisory council of plant protection, instituted in article 4 of the law relating to plant protection, assists the Minister in charge of agriculture in the execution of his mission in this field, in particular that relating to: - the phytosanitary protection of the national territory, - the phytosanitary control at import and export; - the control of the distribution and use of phytopharmaceutical products in the fight against organisms harmful to plant products.
