This album is introducing a first attempt in presenting the nature beauty and the biodiversity value in Albania. Presenting photos taken during many years of work of several specialists in the field of nature protection, and based on the main publication made so far in this field “The Albanian Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan”, the authors of this album are trying to present the main aspects of the country biological diversity. With this publication is not pretending to show up all the dimensions and the Albanian nature beauty but to highlight some more important ones, with the hope for looking in the future of new ways and directions to fulfil the gaps related to the presentation of Albanian nature treasures. For this publication we thank the members of the Directorate of Nature Protection Policy in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Water administration, for the collection and the organization of the received materials.
